Raise a glass to Mother Earth at Westwood’s BLVD 16 for Mother Earth, or for at least as long as we have it around! Westwood’s trendy BLVD 16 bar/restaurant mixing up batches of earthy $9 cocktails for the occasion from today through April 27, 2014.
Adding to its Trees on Tuesday program, Earth Week drinks will be prepared exclusively with Greenbar Distillery spirits. Think of it like sipping a craft cocktail while balancing your carbon footprint and planting a tree for Mother Earth on Earth Day. (All $9 cocktails make you carbon negative for a day and one tree is planted for Mother Earth).
Enjoy a White Julep made with Slow Hand White Whiskey muddled mint, fresh lemon and honey, or Mayan Magic Water made with Ixa Tequila; a Rumpelstiltskin made with Crusoe Spiced rum, Bulleit Rye, Sweet Vermouth, House Grenadine, Angostura Bitters and Float Campari or a Mayan Magic Water mixed with Ixa Organic Tequila, Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, Muddled Mint and fresh lime.
Blvd 16 is located adjacent to the Hotel Palomar in Westwood at 10740 Wilshire Blvd, (310) 475-8711. For more information go to www.blvd16.com.
