Boots in Warmer Climates

Hello Fabulous People!!!

If you live in the United States chances are you are experiencing a cold spell in your neck of the woods. This includes South Florida, an area known and coveted for it's wonderful warm weather year round. I happen to reside in South Florida (transplant from New York City), and although I love the tropical climate, I just adore the cooler temperatures that come our way during the winter months. Now, granted, these temperatures are not cool by northern standards (up north would love to have 64 degree weather in March), but by South Florida standards it's, well.....COLD! So what do we wear when the temperature is 20 degrees lower than the normal average? Some of us continue to wear flip-flops and cut off shorts (to each his or her own), but some of us simply embrace the opportunity to wear boots, sweaters, and event the occasional scarf and (what!) gloves. As for myself, I dress according to the seasons. I wear boots when fall and winter comes, as well as sweaters and scarfs. Now I do pay for it with the occasional outbreak of sweat when it's 87 degrees and I look like I'm hailing a cab on 7th Avenue in NYC but I am correct according to the calendar.

When it is all said and done, dress as you feel. Not just according to the outdoor temperature, but according to your personal style.

TaTa for now,
