The text creates a fun read-aloud experience by pairing the word "book" with other familiar objects such as "chair", and descriptive words such as "big". Massini illustrates each page with pictures that illustrate the pairs of words. "Book-big" is illustrated with an elephant. "Book-park" is illustrated with cute toddlers reading in swings. This picture book is a great example for young children to see that books can be found everywhere. Massini also illustrates with children from multicultural backgrounds. Toddlers have the opportunity to interact with books throughout the story by naming the places that the books can be found and read.

A little mouse that is present throughout the story is a special treat. Children will enjoy looking for the mouse on the large pages. The large size of the book is appealing to young children.

"Books Always Everywhere" is a recent release from Random House Children's Book, and has an ISBN of 978038537506.

Enjoy this new picture book with your toddler this summer and look for places everywhere that books can be found and enjoyed.
