Lolita Healy, creator of Designs by Lolita, will be signing her new book, Martini Moments, at Banner’s Hallmark at the Long Gate Shopping Center (4350 Montgomery Rd.) in Ellicott City on Thursday, Oct. 14 from 6 pm to 8 pm. All of Lolita’s fans from the Baltimore area and beyond are invited to the Book Signing/Party.

Healy, who is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Virginia and worked in advertising for Christian Dior and Donna Karan, created Designs by Lolita in 2004, which offers painted martini glasses, homeware, and gifts. During a night out with friends, Healy noticed that her friends chose martinis that reflected their personalities, and as an artist, she felt that each martini deserved its own special, stylish glass.

In Martini Moments, she shows readers how to “celebrate in style,” with hors d-oeuvre recipes, menu suggestions, music playlists, and other party tips in each chapter. “After-Work Moments,” “Birthday Moments,” “Girls Night Out,” and “Romantic Moments” are just some of the events covered in Martini Moments. For more information about Lolita Healy, visit the Designs by Lolita website. For information on how to order Healy’s products, visit The Lolita Store. Martini Moments, priced at $24.00, can be purchased here.
