See also

If You Were Me and Lived in...South Korea by Carole P. Roman provides young readers with a quick introduction to the country of South Korea and its culture. This style of imagining oneself as living in that country can also be useful in encouraging kids to look at things from other perspectives.

In this book, some aspects of life in South Korea are described. This includes some daily living things like what school, mom, dad, and money are called there. It also devotes several pages to how one may celebrate the Lunar New Year if one lived in South Korea.

Overall this is an enjoyable quick picture book to read with kids, especially those interested in learning a little about what life can be like in South Korea. It also can serve as a good introduction to a more depth unit on the culture of South Korea.
