McGinnis emphasized points from his book in an interview Thursday on America Matters Radio show, hosted by Eddie Floyd, CEO of Nevada Matters, including the concept: “Congress must eliminate laws against Internet gambling that make for-profit prediction markets unworkable in the United States so that people can bet on what the consequences of a particular policy will be even before that policy is implemented.”Manfredi Strategy Group (2013) [Press Release,] When he was asked if the desire to maintain power by some politicians would get in the way of the technology that could be used, McGinnis acknowledged that possibility but maintained that the will of the people would have more effect than the politician’s desire for power.
