Saint John recalls the final events that are to occur on earth written in the Book of Revelation, the concluding book of the New Testament. The Book is written based on what Saint John physically witnesses, and is told to write. Therefore, the Book of Revelation will sound much different from the Book of John. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus presents the mysteries of God’s Will regarding the Church and the world.

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John (Revelation 1:1-20).”

This Book is the most powerful and crucial account in the entire Bible. This does not imply that the other Books are of any less importance, the Book of Revelation only offers the final piece of the puzzle so-to-speak. Saint John describes the various events that will take place before our Lord Jesus arrives for the Final Judgment. Various things must happen prior to Jesus setting foot back on earth. All these things must take place and will, whether humanity is ready or not.

If you would, read the Book of Revelation at some point, if you have not already. Some occurrences seem to be taking place even today. To avoid argument or misinterpretation perhaps you should read the Book for yourself. There are no specific interpretations of the Book of Revelations among most of the Churches around the world due to the contents of this Book and how seemingly vague the Book of Revelation can sound. However, the Scripture is also quite clear in the events to come.

“Behold, I come quickly: blessed [is] he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book (Revelation 22:7).”

Above all, the Book has some strong images, with vivid descriptions of what will take place. It is not a pleasant book by any means. It will cause some disruption in your mind and heart. This should not discourage you from reading this Book for we all are responsible for being mindful of what is to come.

Beloved, do not fear the Book of Revelation but welcome the warning given to us by our Lord Jesus. This Book is a highly informative tool and gift given to us to understand and be made aware of the events to come. If you are fearful, pray! Let God know your initial reactions or worries. Allow our Lord and Savior to take these fears and worries from you and ask for His strength.

Remember the words written in the Book of Revelation to allow you to get closer to our Lord through more praying and repenting. Be courageous and continue to believe in our Lord Jesus. Do not let go of this belief.
