Book adaptations dominate book sales this week

With new books always coming out in theaters, there have been a surge of book sales for those books. This week there are four books that are about to be adapted or have been adapted recently that have made one of the lists.

The NY Times list alone has two books in it’s top five, including one of them being at the top spot. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James makes a return to the list as the trailer was released last week. Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn continues to sell well as the movie gets closer to it’s release date.

For e-book sales, If I Stay by Gayle Forman makes it onto both the Kindle and Nook top lists while The Fault in our Stars by John Green remains on the Kindle list once again. If I Stay’s movie adaptation is set to come out in a few weeks, so the sales should remain strong until then.
