Boogie, Blues & Brews Festival organizers are proud to announce the line-up for the inaugural event on September 21, 22, and 23, 3012. This year’s festival at Walter Hall Park in League City will feature an epic gathering of blues and rock artists including Los Lonely Boys, Jimmie Vaughan & the Tilt-A-Whirl Band featuring Lou Ann Barton, and Marcia Ball.

The weekend lineup is rich with Texas blues and boogie, sprinkled with Louisiana zydeco, and cherry-topped with down home rockabilly.

Three fun filled days of blues, rock, zydeco, and rockabilly. There are children's and teen activities to keep the fun meter on high. Enjoy a huge arts and crafts market, food court and specialty food kiosks throughout the park.

A hotly contested Chili-Cook Off with taster kits is open to the public on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday opens with a Gospel Music extravaganza. Local restaurants compete in the first annual Sweet Tea Competition.

Saturday (Noon to 10 p.m.) includes the Octanes (2:20 p.m.,)

Sunday (Noon-7 p.m.) begins with a Gospel Brunch (12:30 p.m.) featuring the soulful sounds of local gospel artists followed by legendary saxophonist, Grady Gaines & the Texas Upsetters. (3 p.m.)

Sunday’s Headliners Los Lonely Boys (5 p.m.) close with what promises to be an unforgettable weekend!

With over 3 million albums sold Los Lonely Boys is sure to close the festival in grand fashion with their rocking blues based guitar jams and amazing vocal harmonies. Their latest album Rockpango, a self-produced long player on their own Lonely Tone/Playing in Traffic Records, melds blues, rock from classic to modern, soul, their Latino heritage and even snippets of hip-hop and jazz.

For more than four decades, Jimmie Vaughan, the guitar slinging Texan, has been earning his living rockin' the blues. He was a founding member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds and has been singing and leading his Tilt a Whirl band for nearly 20 years. His newest release is titled: Blues, Ballads and Favorites.

Marcia Ball is Texas-born, Louisiana-raised, pianist/vocalist/songwriter. Ball is famed worldwide for igniting a full-scale roadhouse rhythm and blues party every time she strolls on stage. Ball's groove-laden New Orleans boogie and rollicking Gulf Coast blues have made her a one-of-a-kind favorite with music fans all over the world.

Encouraging the whole family to come out and enjoy the weekend entertainment, seniors over 65 and children under 12 will receive free admission all weekend! The Galveston County Food Bank, the Bay Area Habitat For Humanity and Clear Creek Environmental Foundation have been selected as charities that will receive a portion of ticket revenues from the event.

Boogie, Blues & Brews is a City of League City event made possible through the generous support of sponsors; Advantage BMW Clear Lake, Dienst Distributing, Shiner Bock, and Lonestar Beer.
