Boocoo sports new gallery - brings back two hour auctions

Boocoo.com in responding to seller's requests, has made some attractive new changes to it's homepage recently. Let's take a look at them.

The first thing user's will notice is the new scrolling gallery at the top of the page. The gallery provides nice clean pics of featured items. These pics refresh every 15 seconds and I'm told, rotate on a basis that is fair to all sellers.

At the bottom of this gallery are three selections.

  • Just listed
  • Just sold
  • 2 hour auctions (The first item up on the 2hr auction block is a brand new iPod Touch 8GB, it starts at $1.00 and has no reserve.)

The just listed section is an obvious plus to sellers and random rotation means solid featured exposure for items that appear here.

The just sold section, is a good research tool for those wanting to know what is of interest to buyers on the site. If you'd want to figure out what to price your item at, see what kind of stock you want to carry, or are just curious, this is a welcome new tool.

2 hour aucitons. YAY! This is my favorite part of the new features. Simply put, these are auctions which start at $1.00 and last two hours only. They're fast, fun and provide super exposure for sellers gusty enough to sell via a REAL auction format.

For buyers they mean a chance to take part in a true auction that actually let's the market decide the value of the item. They're the way auctions were meant to be!
