Bono must be proud of his daughter Eve Hewson, who made her entrance tonight on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
Donning an awesome (and edgy) black and pale pink Chanel frock, this teenage dream spawned by Bono (also known as U2 frontman Paul Hewson) showed up for the debut of her film, This Must Be the Place.
Sean Penn plays alongside Eve Hewson in this high budget movie about an aging rock star who is looking for a Nazi war criminal. Not incidentally, that war criminal just happens to be the man who was his father's persecutor.
Although Eve Hewson is taking a bow in this big film, she has worked in front of the camera before in the indie film called The 27 Club. However, this is the most important role yet for Bono's kid--and what a way to launch the effort, looking on point at such a glam event as the notoriously fashionable Cannes Film Festival.
