McKee calls "Sleepwalker" her "InBeTwingle," which means it will be a promo track released between her debut single "American Girl" and whatever she selects as the second official single. To announce the release of "Sleepwalker," she released a horror movie-like trailer for the song. She parties it up and battles zombies in the chilling clip. A snippet of the track plays near the end and it sounds like a full-blown EDM banger.
McKee co-wrote big hits for Katy Perry and Britney Spears so now she is looking to make a name for herself as an artist. She signed with a record deal with Epic Records last year and released the buoyant electro-pop single "American Girl" this past summer. It has so far peaked at no. 87 on Billboard's Hot 100.
She was set to open for the Jonas Brothers' tour this month but a rift within the band cancelled the show. The "Sleepwalker" music video will be released later this month in honor of Halloween.
