Actress Bonnie Franklin, who played the single mom Ann Romano on the 70's sitcom "One Day at a Time," has died at age 69.
Yahoo News reports, her family says she died Friday and her death was due to complications from pancreatic cancer, which Franklin revealed she was battling back in September. Mayo clinic says, pancreatic cancer begins in the tissues of your pancreas which is in your stomach. Pancreatic cancer often has a poor prognosis, even when diagnosed early. Pancreatic cancer typically spreads rapidly and is seldom detected in its early stages
Franklin earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her lead role on "One Day at a Time."
She then went on to work with Los Angeles-area theater groups to produce staged readings for students; she also played a nun on the CBS soap "The Young and the Restless" earlier this year.
Franklin was married to producer Marvin Minoff for 29 years, until his death in 2009.
