The Bonner County Gardeners Association is developing a Membership Education Course that will be offered to the public this spring. The intention is to train new individuals with the purpose of increasing the size of the organization. The Bonner County Gardeners Association is a nonprofit, educational, beneficial, and fun organization. The community has requested a large number of projects from the BCGA, and the group needs all the members and help it can get.
The course will be based on a DVD obtained from the Washington State University Master Gardener program. The WSU has given its approval for this use of its program, providing education to both the public and BCGA members.

There will also be an optional field trip to local nurseries sometime in the week of May 7th, and a casual ‘meet and greet’ sometime in the week of March 5th to set course expectations.
Most of the classes will consist of recorded lectures and in class exercises. There will be prerequisite reading assignments prior to class sessions. Only two absences will be allowed unless there are preapproved alternate arrangements.
Classes will be at 804 Airport Way, Sandpoint, ID83864and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 12:30 pm. The cost of the course will be $150, due the week of March 5th and is non-refundable. Class size is limited.
