After 6 weeks of testing the mental prowess of its fans, Bonnaroo released the last of its 2014 Bonnaroo Lineup Clues today, Feb. 13. With the lineup announcement show scheduled for Feb. 19, the clue game is winding down, but those devious Bonnaroo promoters aren't ready to let it go without one final puzzler. You can find our reports on all the Bonnaroo Lineup Clues here.
The final Bonnaroo Clue is a picture of three cars driving down forked roads toward a single road with a 25 m.p.h. sign on it. The cars appear to have the emblems for Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai. You can see the image here.
The cars are a Nissan, a Mitsubishi, and a Hyundai, in order from left to right. The first letters of each are NMH, pointing to Neutral Milk Hotel. Additionally, the band is on its 25th anniversary tour, bringing in the speed sign. The final piece is the three roads merging into one. Neutral Milk Hotel's first major label exposure was on Merge Records. Taken all together, it seems like a pretty solid slam dunk for Neutral Milk Hotel to be at Bonnaroo 2014.
