The Bonanaroo 2013 lineup has been revealed via an announcement on Feb. 19 for the annual concert in Manchester, TN. Among the performers will be hip hop stars Nas, Kendrick Lamar and the Wu-Tang Clan.
According to a report on Feb. 19 from MTV.com, the headline acts include Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. They'll be joined by the Lumineers, Bjork, Wilco, Pretty Lights and Grizzly Bear. Hip hop fans will be pleased to know that Nas and Kendrick Lamar are among the hip hop acts. These two rap stars had two of the most talked about albums of 2012 with "Life is Good" and "good kid M.A.A.D City."
The Wu-Tang Clan, scheduled for this year's Coachella 2013 concert, will also appear on the Bonnaroo lineup. Other hip hop acts include A$AP Rocky, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Their current smash hit "Thrift Shop" featuring Wanz is currently #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as on iTunes Music Store. These performers are part of the hundred or so acts that were revealed on Tuesday for the concert lineup.
The Bonnaroo 2013 dates for Manchester, TN are June 13 through 16. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. EST. More information, including the full lineup of over 100 acts, is available at the official website.
