Bonnaroo 2013 lineup clue 2 released

After launching the Bonnaroo 2013 lineup clue game earlier this week with clue #1, Bonnaroo released the second today, as well as unveiling a social media spanning format for future clues.

The second clue, gathered from Radio Bonnaroo, the Bonnaroo app, and Bonnaroo365:

In two by twos they come, Two crabs walking on the beach (this is a best guess, the video clue is here.), While the pavement bakes

Obviously, with 1/3 of the haiku having to be guessed via a video clip, this year's clues are going to be harder than in previous years. Some clue solvers on Bonnaroo's Facebook page and the Inforoo message board have already begun trying to work out the answers.

Some clue solvers are focused on the "two by two" and the two crabs in the video to mean it may be a two piece band. Others have noted that "in twos by twos they come" could be reference to the Biblical story of Noah's ark.

The second part of the clue, the video portion, portrays two crabs walking onto the beach while waves crash in the background. Clue solvers have guessed this could signify a band from overseas, a band with something ocean or wave related in their names, or possibly a band from Maryland, where crabs are plentiful.

While the pavement bakes has been a bit harder for most people. Some have guessed it's a reference to the band Pavement, while others have suggested the sun or summer in some way.

Popular guesses around the various sites trying to solve the clue include Frank Ocean, Animal Collective, Noah and the Whale, Aesop Rock, and Prodigy.

If you'd like to take a stab at solving the Bonnaroo 2013 clues, the best ways are to participate in the comments on their Facebook page, on Twitter using hashtag #rooclues, or on the Inforoo message board, where there is a very active section dedicated to clue sleuthing.
