The Mighty Clouds of Joy started in Los Angeles, California during a time when African Americans were expected to use separate toiletries or enter restaurants from the back instead of the front. When thinking of gospel quartet music, most people consider the Mighty Clouds of Joy to be pioneers of quartet music because they have paved the way for other gospel artists by taking their music to international markets and making several television appearances. Through their unity, the Mighty Clouds of Joy continues to tour and make hits songs that has helped shaped our history. Although some of the group members has passed on or has been replaced, the Mighty Clouds of Joy continues to tour around the world and spread the good news of Jesus by singing songs such as, "I've Been in the Storm Too Long", "Everybody Ought to Praise His Name", "Mighty High" and "Walk Around Heaven" just to name a few of their greatest hit songs.

On March 22, 2014, Pastor Stuart Courtney and Bethlehem Baptist Church will welcome the Mighty Clouds of Joy with open arms by hosting a concert in Bonham, Texas. This gospel concert is also a fundraiser for the church in order to increase outreach and community projects within the church. This event will mark a moment in history and is an event you don't want to miss. To purchase tickets to attend the Mighty Clouds of Joy Concert or for more information, click here!
