Bongo Comics, the cartoon-heavy comic book publisher co-founded by Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening, has joined the party and updated their company logo. The new company logo is just one of a number of logo re-designs that have been announced by comic publishers as of late including those changed by DC Comics, Devils Due and Oni Press.
The company's decision to revamp the logo most likely stemmed from the same train of thought shared by several other publishers who wanted to update their logos to better reflect the 'digital era' of publishing and provide cleaner designs for use. In addition to the main company logo, Bongo Comics has also created several new title-specific designs that will soon grace the covers of Simpsons Comics, Simpsons Illustrated, Futurama Comics and Bart Simpson.
