'Bones' star David Boreanaz wants 'Downton Abbey' role

"Downton Abbey" has already taken much of England and the world by storm -- and with this, an American actor has already expressed an interest in joining the show if they would have him.

In a new post on Twitter, "Bones" star David Boreanaz had this to say about his interest in getting on board the series:

"I'd like to be that American cowboy who shakes things up at Downton Abbey. I'm open for a visit Mr Fellowes."

The "Mr. Fellowes" is a reference to Julian Fellowes -- who is the executive producer for the hit import series -- which airs on PBS here in America.
