“Bones” returns to FOX Monday January 14, 2013 with two all new episodes one of which, "The Doll in the Derby" can be viewed here. While fans are getting excited at “Bones” return TV Line delivered some fantastic spoilers of what is to come for the rest of the season January 1, 2013.
In the weeks to come the psycho killer Pelant – who we learned in the last episode is out there ready to strike again promises to make an appearance in late January. The episode will be in true “24-esque” form with the opening of a “body being discovered” in Angela and Hodgins bed, while they are IN the bed. You can imagine this hits awfully close to home. Executive producer Stephen Nathan promises “it’s a phenomenal episode that escalates the Pelant story.”
If you felt the relationship between Daisy and Sweets had unresolved issues, never fear, there will be a case where these star crossed lovers will be forced to deal with those issues when they are put together on a case. Cam and Arastoo go public with their intimate relationship which Brennan openly disapproves of (despite the hypocrisy of the situation). We saw the tension start in Hodgins and Angela’s relationship when a street artist sparked her creative side in the last episode to air. This will continue to bring frustrations in the marriage. She is frustrated about her professional career at the Jeffersonian and “wants to explore other avenues”.
