"Bones" is taking a stab at making a documentary during an episode like shows have done in the past with season 8 episode 20, "The Blood from the Stones," for which FOX released promotional photos on Wednesday, March 13.
In this "Bones" episode, their victim is a police officer who was undercover investigating a string of ATM robberies, and they find his remains in a van with a bag of diamonds inside his mutilated body. Did the ATM robbers kill the cop or could the cop have been crooked? Meanwhile, in order to raise funds for the Jeffersonian, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) ends up the subject of a documentary, and she's going to find it a bit hard to be "likeable on camera."
And as the "Blood from the Stones" photos, which you can check out in the slideshow at the top of this article, show, Eugene Byrd (Dr. Clark Edison) and Patricia Belcher (Caroline Julian) are returning in this episode. The promotional images also offer a look at guest stars Dave Thomas and Curtis Armstrong. Thomas is playing the documentary filmmaker Andrew Jursic, while Armstrong is guest starring as a jewelry storeowner, Oscar Schultz, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan interview. And are those rings that he has out on display in front of them in a couple of photos?
