The Powell Peralta skateboard company is the manufacturer of the Bones Brand line of wheels and bearings. Bones Brand wheels are some of the highest quality wheels on the skateboard market today. Their Bearings aren't to shabby either. The Bones Swiss line is the standard in bearing perfection. To anyone who owns a business it's an obvious move for the Powell Corp to branch out into other markets that might appreciate a high quality urethane wheel and the mechanical perfection of a Swiss bearing. So to promote their Roller Skate division Bones enlisted long time videographer now Bones Team Manager Vern Laird to produce a new video hi lighting one of the Official Bones roller girls. Vern is skilled with a camera so I was eager to see his take on roller skating. Apparently a ton of other people were interested as well. The video has gone viral. Im sure the Bones marketing guys are pumped. Congrats Vern and congrats Michelle Steilen for putting your heart into something and the world appreciating it! - Jason Chapman The National Skateboarding Examiner
From Michelle Steilen star of the video:
In support of roller skating we ask that you share this video with your friends and customers. The video has already made it's way through the roller derby, skateboarding, BMX and inline media outlets, even promoted on Thrasher Magazine's website.
Why viral? The moves are pretty simple but I believe because it's a first of its kind and those that street skate or ride can relate to the content because Bones' Vern Laird chose to film only at the most iconic skating spots.
Thank you for reading and wtaching!
