Summary: Brennan and Booth’s honeymoon in Buenos Aires turns into a busman’s holiday
As can be expected, Brennan can’t seem to get away from work. Booth wanted to enjoy his honeymoon and relax but Brennan can’t do that. She loves looking at bones and it’s no surprise that she would rope Booth into an investigation.
Hodgins drops hints with Angela that he’s looking to add to their family and Angela gets on board.
We get a look at a crime that involves a really bad guy from the Nazi party. But of course the motive still involves money.
Next week, we get a double helping of bones next week as the show moves to Friday nights. We get two new episodes as Booth and Brenna return back to work.
Here’s a recap of the show.
The show opens with Brennan and Booth on their honeymoon in Buenos Aires. Brennan is having problems enjoying relaxing. She offers to show him something.
She brings him to a place where all the remains are in the area. A woman, Dr. Perez, comes to greet Booth/Brennan. She talks with a set of bones with Bones. Brennan noticed that a set of bones was burned recently and she offers her help.
Booth/Brennan/Dr. Perez are going to see the police. Brennan wants to investigate the bones but Booth wants to go back to relaxing. They meet with the inspector, Valenza. The inspector accepts her offer.
Angela is talking with Brennan about the honeymoon. She sees that Bones is in a morgue with Dr. Perez. Cam/Hodgins come in and see that Brennan and Booth are helping with the murder.
Angela is working on the identity of the victim. Hodgins/Cam/Edison are looking over the bones Brenna sent over.
Dr. Perez and Brennan are butting heads over the bones.
Valenza and Booth are drinking at a bar. Sweets calls Booth to scold at him for working. He tells Sweets to look up Valenza to make sure he’s not corrupt. Valenza shows Booth a video of a possible victim. They might have found a car.
Hodgins/Angela are in Booth/Brennan’s house with the kids.
While eating breakfast, Booth gets a picture of the victim, Miguel, and Valenza takes it to look up in the records. He gets a name.
Booth/Valenza go to see the victim’s wife, who is a lot younger then his 90 year old self.
Booth/Valenza talk with the wife, Bianca, about Miguel. She tells them that she married Miguel to get away from a bad life she was living. She said that she doesn’t profit from Miguel’s death so she couldn’t have killed him.
Booth/Valenza need to find the car to get clues about Miguel’s murder. Sweets calls Booth about Valenza. He says that Valenza is one of the good guys on paper. Booth says unless Sweets has anything solid, he’s going to trust Valenza is good.
Brenna/Perez are looking over the bones with Hodgins/Edison. Hodgins tells them that it was a wood fire that burnt the bones.
Valenza/Booth look in a neighborhood that strip cars. They are able to get to the car before it got stripped. They look over the car. Booth finds a key in the trunk.
Hodgins/Angela at home. They are struggling with the kids.
Edison talks with Perez and they talk about the case.
Booth/Valenza are trying to find the source of the key. Brennan calls Booth. She tells him about the Nazi gas. They open the basement and see a lot of Nazi merchandise.
Booth/Valenza are looking over the stuff when Perez/Brennan show up. They find blood and wood. They find a chest is missing with ‘Melmer’ being related. Booth makes sure that they are doing what Brennan wants.
Angela is telling Booth/Valenza about Miguel and how he was in the Nazi party, responsible for thousands of Jews’ deaths. Valenza says he knows someone who is an expert in Nazi party they can talk to.
Perez/Brennan are looking over the bones. They find that it was a struggle and no cause of death. When going to look at the skull, Perez accidentally drops it. Brennan offers to work with her to put it back together.
Valenza/Booth are talking with the man. David. He says they couldn’t bring Miguel in because he had influences.
Hodgins is telling Brennan/Booth/Valenza about the wood findings. They talk about the crates of gold bars that the Nazi’s found with ‘Melmer’ as a courier receipt.
Brennan/Perez talk with Angela about the skull and how they found that Miguel was beaten to death by a bar of gold. Perez talk with Brennan about kids.
Brennan goes to see Booth. She tells him about the gold of bar. She goes back to work. Valenza says buying gold is limited sellers.
Booth/Valenza meet with . They find the gold in his office, which also includes the bar that killed Miguel. He says he bought the gold from a woman. It’s Miguel’s wife.
They go to the house and see her on the way out. They arrest Bianca.
Booth/Valenza are questing Bianca. She said she didn’t kill him. She said she went in there with the door already open.
Brennan is looking over the bones. Perez tells Brennan that they arrested Bianca and that Brennan can leave. She notices something but brushes it off.
Brennan goes to see Valenza/Booth. She tells them that she thinks Perez killed Miguel.
Booth/Brennan/Valenza confront Perez because her grandfather, who was Miguel, was a Nazi after she spent years identifying the victims from the Holocaust.
Angela/Hodgins are home talking about the kids. They agree that one kid is enough for them. Until they see Christine and Michael playing together. They want to have another kid.
Booth/Brennan go back to enjoying their honeymoon.
