A look at last week’s episode: http://www.examiner.com/article/bones-9x4-the-sense-the-sacrifice-recap
Summary: An investigation of the murder of a high-school principal who had cancer.
Guest Starring: Chuck Liddell
Booth/Bones are starting to plan their wedding. They are trying to plan it themselves, without outside forces. But we do see that Bones is a bit of dreamer (As Angela has pointed out). She had a picture of a wedding dress she’s had since she was a little girl and how willing she was to get married in a church.
Sweets finally learns his worth with the FBI and finally has his confidence back. He was able to prove that he’s better then some computer an is worth having around.
Next week’s show is probably going to be the show of the season, and perhaps the series. It’s the big show where Bones and Booth finally get married. This show is different then what pretty much every show does and have a big wedding such as this either be a season premiere or a season finale.
Here’s a recap of the show.
The show opens with Bones/Booth scaling a mountain to look at a body hanging from it. They argue about telling their friends about the wedding whiles Bones looks at the body. She thinks that it was an accident but Booth thinks it’s murder.
Booth tells Sweets that the head of department wants Booth to use a computer system called VAL to see if it’s better then Sweets at the job.
Angela comes to look at the hawk and Hodgins starts talking about what the Hawk threw up and she walks away.
Bones is looking at the x-rays that Wells took. He claims that the victim never went rock climbing before. He does Cam’s job and says that the body’s been there for 3 days. They think that the victim was bludgeoned to death before being thrown off it.
Sweets is mad about VAL and he tries to prove he’s better by predicting what happened.
Cam comes in and gets mad at Wells by the way he was talking to Bones and to her. She asks about the wedding, but Bones brushes it off. Cam shoos Wells away after they discover he had cancer.
Wells checks on the reconstruction and they found the victim, Charlie McCord.
Booth/Bones are watching a video Charlie made about how he was going to die. He had a website that he would post videos about life.
Cam comes to talk to Hodgins about what he found in the hawk.
Booth/Sweets talking with Charlie’s wife. She says he was a specil man
Angela shows Cam a video of Charlie punching a mixed martial arts fighter named Chuck ‘The Iceman’ Liddell.
Booth talks with Chuck about the video. He says that Charlie made a bucket list and hitting him was on it. He offers his help.
Angela goes to see Wells. She gives him a bucket list which consists of him not being a ‘douche’. He tells Angela that he didn’t even have 6 weeks left.
Sweets/Bones are talking about VAL. She thinks VAL would be better then him when Booth shows up. Sweets proves his worth by saying that everyone’s got a bucket list. Bones gets a call and learns that Martin Proctor was Charlie’s hospital contact.
Bones goes to Angela to talk about her wedding. She makes Angela realize how she should have trusted Booth. Bones asks her to be her Matron of Honor.
Booth/Sweets talk with Martin. Charlie had helped him get a job at the school. Martin gives them Charlie’s bucket list. The last thing left was ‘make Lena whole’. She was someone that Charlie got arrested and she ended up losing everything.
Sweets goes to talk to Cam and sees she’s got VAL too. It’s claiming that Lena is the murderer.
Cam checks in on Hodgins again. He tells her that there was materials from a tire recycling facility from the earwax. They talk about their own bucket lists before Cam leaves.
Bones/Wells are looking over the skull. They conclude he was hit either once or three times.
Angela/Cam notice how much money that Charlie’s website was getting.
Booth/Bones go to visit Lena and Bones tells Booth that she wants a formal wedding at his church. Lena opens the door and Booth arrests her for having a weapon (against her parole).
Sweets is talking with Lena. She tells him that she was angry at first, but she changed. He says that have to hold her until they can confirm her weapon is not the murder weapon.
Angela is watching one of Charlie’s videos when Bones comes in. Angela says that the pipe is not the murder weapon, thus clearing Lena. Bones shows her a picture of a wedding dress that she’s had since she was 8.
Sweets visits with Booth. VAL still thinks Lena is the murdered, but Sweets doesn’t think so. Booth decides to trust Sweets. They learn that the money from the website was going to Lena.
Hodgins/Wells/Cam see that Charlie was poisoned from Arsenic.
Booth/Bones talk with Charlie’s wife about the money from the videos. They ask about the medicine she gave them. She says she was trying to help him, not kill him.
Bones/Wells look at the skull again. He asks Bones to be his friends, but she declines. They think that Martin Proctor killed Charlie with a bag of quarters.
Wells/Bones try to get Angela to deny that Martin bought the movie ticket. They confirm that he didn’t.
Booth/Sweets talk with Martin about why he killed him. Martin said that he wanted more of the money from the videos. He says he never meant to kill him because by doing so, he wouldn’t get the money.
Wells is talking with VAL when Cam comes and take the computer out.
Bones/Booth are at home. They are making bucket lists.
