Summary: In this show, the remains of a 15-year old are found and the investigation begins with an unflattering portrait of the teen, who is thought as being smart but socially awkward but they find out that he is linked to allegations of rape. Meanwhile, Finn debates telling Cam that her daughter, Michelle (his girlfriend), is in town for the weekend.
Show opens with a man bringing stuff to a pawn shop trying to sell a suitcase. The man opens it and they find remains inside of it.
Booth is working on a crossword and Bones comes over and helps him, which he doesn’t want. They argue because he says that she thinks that she is always the smartest. Bones arrives at the lab where Cameron/Finn/Hodgins are looking at remains. They start talking about Finn’s relationship with Cam’s daughter Michelle. After looking at the bones, Bones can’t conclude that it’s a murder. Says it could be an accident.
Sweets/Booth go to see the victim’s, Manny, mother. Their neighbor and her daughter, Kat, tell her that her son is dead. Kat asks how he was identified and Sweets says by dental records. Kat says there was no one in school who would want to hurt Manny. Mother says it’s been two weeks since they really talked. Booth gets a call from Cam saying he had doses of Special K in his system. Booth gets a recent photo of Manny and Kat keeps eyeballing Sweets.
Cam’s daughter surprises Finn and she says that she lied so she could spend the weekend with him. Finn says he won’t tell Cam.
Sweets/Booth look at his room. He has a lot of computer stuff in his room. Kat says he fixed computers and that he was smart. Booth finds a stack of cash.
Angie shows Cam the files that was on Manny’s phone. Angie says most of them are to Kat and she thinks that he liked her, but she didn’t like him. She is able to find out who the mystery number that Manny was texting. It’s Nick Pavonetti.
Booth meets with Nick. He asks him about the Ketemine and other drugs. Nick says he doesn’t do that. He says that Manny created software and downloads and Nick says that he sold the product. He says that he tried to get Manny integrated and that the last time he saw him two weeks ago at his party.
Finn talks with Bones about the bones. He says he was in a car accident. They found cause of death, affixation. Bones gives Finn his phone and Finn doesn’t answer his phone with his girlfriend calls. Cam comes in and takes Bones away and he texts her back.
Cam takes Bones to Angie. She shows her the pictures and what he was looking at on his phone. He was looking at a website of pictures from the party. They find some pictures of Manny being jealous and that he was following around Kat the party. They end with a man dragging Manny out of the party.
Booth speaks with the man that dragged Manny out of the party and about Kat he was dancing with. Booth tells him that he is a suspect. He says he’s a senior and he says that Manny came and hit him and then says that Kat and Manny fought and she says that she wished Manny was dead.
Finn talks to Bones about new injuries that he found after the victim had died. She says to try and get a timeline on the injuries.
Kat goes to see Sweets and Sweets record the conversation without her knowing. Sweets brings up the fight with her and Manny. He tells her that he won’t tell anyone anything that they don’t need to know. Kat tells him that she was raped. She says she passed out at the party and woke up at home. She says that she was a virgin that night and that she’s not anymore. She says that she remembers a green eye. She says her mom told her not to go to the police. Sweets asks if she took Ketemine and she sys she doesn’t know anything about it. She says that he changed but she doesn’t think that he would do it.
Booth and Bones talk about the victim. She says that the Ketemine was on Manny and not in him. Sweets goes to see Booth/Bones. He tells them that Kat was raped. He says that he doesn’t know who raped her. Booth calls Kat’s mother so they could do a rape case. She gets mad at him for telling and Sweets feels guilty.
Finn talks with Cam about the bones. He says the injuries are random, but in a pattern at the same time. While talking about the bones, Finn admits that Michelle is in town. Cam says that he shouldn’t have told her because it’s breaking Michelle’s trust.
Booth/Bones talk with Kat’s mother. She told her to stay away from Manny. She says she confront Manny and she said he said nothing and he ran off. She says she couldn’t go to the cops because Kat couldn’t remember who did it. Booth suggests that she killed Manny.
Bones looks at the bones with Finn. Bones doesn’t think that the mother did it because she’s not strong enough but they still don’t know where the patterns come from.
Kat confronts Sweets. He says that he had to report it. He asks why she told him. He tells her that he wasn’t raped, but he was beaten by his foster father. He says that it took someone to tell him that it wasn’t right and to face the problem. Kat says that there is nothing anyone can do. Sweets says he will do everything he can to catch the person who raped her.
Finn takes Michelle to a bar. Cam ‘walks’ by and sees Michelle with Finn. Cam yells at Michelle and she fells guilty and Finn is surprised that Michelle’s plan worked.
Sweets talks with Bones/Angie about Kat. He sys he doesn’t think that Manny raped Kat. Bones says they follow Kat instead of Manny. There is a picture of Kat running off crying where is someone is offering her a drink. Someone had spiked her drink and they believe he is the one that raped her.
Michelle goes to see Cam and they talk about what she did. She told her that Finn had already told her. They agree to always tell the truth. Cam admits that she is dating an intern.
Hodgins tells Bones that he found fibers for a strapping on the bones. He says the strength says that it would take 1500 lbs of pressure to close the suitcase. Bones says that Nick works for a moving company.
Bones/Booth goes to look at the straps from the moving company. She finds the straps that have blood residue and Booth arrests him.
Sweets goes to see Booth interrogating Nick. He says that he got a payment in Ketemine for a deal. Booth/Bones talk about how he drugged Kat’s drink and that he raped her. Sweets comes in and snatches his necklace and says that was the one thing that Kat remembered. He says that Manny found out and he punched him to shut him off. They start talking about how they can’t charge him with murder and rape if he confesses to rape. Nick admits to raping Kat and he learns that he was tricked into confessing for the rape and the murder.
Sweets talks with Kat and her mother. He tells her it was Nick that raped her.
