Show opens with two police men looking through an old slaughter house responding to a B/E call. They find a dead body.
Bones/Booth head to the slaughter house. Booth tells Bones that he has to go to the hospital. At the slaughter house, Cam is looking at the victim’s hand. Hodgins says that the death happen 8 hrs ago and Bones notices that she’s a female. She was killed with a saw. Bones doesn’t want Hodgins to use the pressurized hose to clean the tissues. Much to Bones’s dismay.
Wendell is feeling subconscious about turning 29 because he hasn’t accomplished anything. He says that he thinks that it’s domestic abuse. Cam takes the bridge of the victim’s mouth to id the victim.
Booth talks to Sweets about the case. Sweets doesn’t think that it’s a serial killer. Booth gets a call about the id her name is Melinda. He tells Sweets to talk to her husband. Booth leaves and doesn’t tell Sweets where he’s gong.
Angie tells Bones that she died at 12:24 AM. Bones gets a call from Booth and Angie over hears Bones mention he’s at the hospital. Bones says she can’t tell her about the call.
Sweets meets with Dr. Perkins. He’s says they’ve been separated for a year. He says she was the one that wanted the divorce. He says he doesn’t beat up next wives, looks for new ones. He says he was at the hospital until 2 AM.
Bones tells Booth tells him that Melinda wasn’t killed in the slaughter house but 100 meters away. Booth and Bones discover a building with roller derby.
Booth/Bones meet with Nicky, the coach of the team, and Susan. Susan says that Melinda didn’t go to drinks with the team. Bones says that her injuries were because of roller derby. Nicky says that Ivana didn’t show up for practice.
Hodgins discovers that Melinda was killed with a blow to the head with a skate. Hodgins keeps trying to get to Intern with his age. Hodgins learns that Wendell posed for Angie naked.
Angie meets with Cam. She asks her about Booth. Cam says she doesn’t anything. Tox-screen comes in. she had a high on pain medicine with cocaine, ecstasy.
Booth meets with Ivana. She says she missed practice to take a test for school. He brings up her competition with Melinda. She says that it made them better on the rink. She says that Melinda lived a wild life. She says that she had a lot of guys, says she had sex with a guy at her ex-husband’s house.
Sweets/Bones/Booth talk about victim. Sweets says it’s extreme behavior because of her actions. Booth says that the answer is at the rink. He says they can’t get a warrant and Bones suggest undercover.
Angie is going undercover. Hodgins not liking it. She says she wants to help when Hodgins sees her, he likes it.
At the rink, the girls are getting ready for try-outs to fill in Melinda’s spot. Angie tries out for the team.
Hodgins looks at shirt filled with blood. Cam thinks that she was stabbed before she died.
Ivanna talks with Angie. She says that she did well enough to make the team. Angie uses the empty locker room to look for a blood skate, but they all have blood. Susan tells her not to leave valuable things in the locker room because things get stolen. She tells Angie that she should make the team.
Cam talks with Bones. She tells her that all the skates had blood. She asks about Booth. She says that nothing is wrong. She says that Booth won’t let her talk about it.
Bones goes to see the bones. Intern says that the cut is at a 70 degree angle. He also notices a different cut, thinking it’s a wood saw. Bones says that Nicky had built the derby track himself.
Susan and Angie are at the bar drinking beers are a little buzzed. Booth goes into the bar to meet up with them. Angie says that Booth is her boyfriend as part of her cover. Angie says that Nicky has been stealing from the locker room and money from the till. Nicky arrives and Booth says he wants to talk to him.
Booth interrogate Nicky. He says he didn’t steal, he says that he thinks Melinda stole it. He admits that he had sex with her. He says he met her husband at the bar when he came in. He says he broke up with her after that.
Cam goes to the hospital to talk with a Dr. Crawford. She asks her about Booth. She says she can’t tell her. Cam asks her some more questions. She learns that Dr. Crawford is a nerve doctor. Cam asks about if Booth is seeing her because of Christine. Dr. Crawford says she can’t answer it b/c she promised Booth she wouldn’t.
Hodgins goes to check on the bones. Wendell says that he’s so upset because he made a bet with his brother that he would be a loser by he turned 29. Wendell says that the killer had to have knowledge with a person’s anatomy.
Booth goes to meet with Dr. Perkins. He brings up his alibi. He says he was MIA between 9pm-1am. He brings up the way she was killed. Perkins asks for a lawyer.
Hodgins tells Wendell to have him ask for the $200 from his brother. He also shows him that their was eyeball fluid on her shirt. He says she was stabbed in the eye with a key.
Booth says it can’t be husband b/c he doesn’t have a key. Booth gathers the team and asks for everyone’s keys. They all go to the team bus. Booth tests the ignition and it’s positive of blood. She admits it because Melinda stole from all of them.
Angie/Hodgins/Wendell are at the bar celebrating his birthday. He gave Hodgins his naked portrait back, but he has boxers on in the picture.
Booth is at a fair with some of the kids from the hospital. Bones talks with Cam, spying on Booth. She says that Booth has been working on giving the kids a carnival. She says that Booth didn’t tell anyone because he wanted it to be anonymous.
