Angie and Hodgins wake to their son crying but above their bed is a dead body. They check their son and there is flower petals around his pillow.
Bones/Booth go to Angie’s/Hodgin’s house. She says that Angie thinks that it’s Pelant. The flower petals are from Israel. Hodgins thinks that Pelant is doing this because Hodgins almost killed him. Hodgins doesn’t want anyone else to know. He wants them to strike back. Bones says that Booth is the only one that has the skills to do that. Booth won’t.
Booth shuts down the department. It’s only need to know. Cam pulls Hodgins’s blood to try and find out what are the drugs he used against them.
Bones and Angie are looking at the victim. He is male, late 30’s, white, and 210 lbs. Bones doesn’t see the message Pelant is giving them. Cam finds something in the victim’s muscle. Angie is upset with how calm Cam is about the case. Bones tells Angie that she was scared when she was on the run with Christine. She says that she was able to keep going by focusing on a goal. She says their goal could be stopping Pelant.
Pelant is making a ID for himself.
Booth/Sweets look at his file and his victims. Flynn comes in and they act like they are looking at Pelant. He offers his help.
Angie shows Cam possibilities of appearance. Bones thinks the victim was in special forces.
Flynn tells Booth about the victim. He brings him classified records of the victim.
Cam tells Hodgins they can’t ID the gas. Hodgins wants Cam to research the house again and offers her money but she says it’s not that simple.
Sweets/Bones review the victim’s, Freeman, file. They go to his apartment. Sweets finds a safe. The weapon is open and he thinks that Freeman worked as a hired gun.
Cam talks with Bones about the bones. Bones finds that he was stucked with needles that would cause a lot of pain but not kill him.
Flynn/Booth meet with Freeman’s boss and ask for Freeman’s file but he says no.
Sweets tries to talk with Hodgins but he doesn’t want to. Sweets tells him to calm down but Hodgins tells him to leave. Hodgins finds something to help how he was drugged.
Caroline says she can’t give Booth/Flynn a warrant without knowing what they are searching for.
Sweets tells Cam about Hodgins. He thinks Hodgins should stop working. Cam won’t tell Hodgins to go home because she thinks that’s what Pelant wants.
Angie goes to see Hodgins. Angie offers her lung with his so they could find out what drugs they were on.
Bones receives a call from Pelant. He says that he’s mad that she hasn’t figured it out since. Bones goes an finds Cam to try and get a trace but not in time. She tells Cam that Pelant sent her a clue.
A man in the mail room opens an envelope with a finger in it.
Bones tells Booth to go back to work.
Hodgins tells Angie about an old school way of communicating so that they can talk to Booth without the chance of Pelant bugging their phones. The results come back from the lung tests. He finds out about the gas that knocked them out and there is only two companies that have it.
Cam concludes that the finger comes from an ape and Bones finds out which ape and what he was pointing at.
Angie finds out which painting did the victim look like. They find it but don’t know what it means.
Sweets doesn’t see the similarities either. Hodgins tells them he found out that Justin Timpler was the one that got the gas. Angie suggests they use spam to distract Pelant while they search the records.
Pelant gets a lot of emails on his phone. He goe sto check in on it. He opens the email and he blocks her which allows her to get the location.
Flynn/Booth ask Caroline for the warrant to go for him. She says ok.
Booth says Sweets can’t go in because he has to be there to help them if he fails to get Pelant.
Pelant sees that the police are outside and are making their wy in.
Cam notices the differences between the painting and the victim. Bones thinks that is the messge that Pelant is trying to send.
The muscles were labeled on the body and the holes line up different letters bu they don’t know the message.
Pelant starts freaking out trying to get back up what he needs to. He has to end it short beore the police get to him.
Hodgins says that Lyceum is the only thing that makes sense with the letters.
Booth/Flynn ask the boss about the escape route. They find him using it out and they start chasing after him.
In a room, Pelant sets off a machine gun and Flynn gets hit. Booth stays behind to help Flynn before going after Pelant. He shoots the window, surprising him. The second shot appears to have hit, but didn’t stop him.
The Boss tells Booth about a message going off. It’s a code. Booth says he recognizes the code. They find out that it’s a plane flying tha could cause a lot of damage. They can’t stop the drone. They use the ‘lyceum’ as passowrd and works. Says that the drone will tke out a school.
They continue to work on the code. Hodgins discovers that Palent is taking all their money. He says they can’t shut it down. He says Pelant is forcing him to choose between the money and the school. He chooses the school.
Angie is able to get it to blow up before it hits the school.
Angie goes to comfort Hodgins and they are ok with not having the money.
Booth gets home to Bones and Christine. He hates that Pelant has the next move.
Pelant is at a vet place, a body is on the floor and he’s sowing up his face.
