Bone Soiree for North Texas Basset Hound Rescue on Saturday

The North Texas Basset Hound Rescue, Inc. is having a fund raiser on Saturday, April 10th. From 5:30 pm to 10 pm at the Great Wolf Lodge Conference Center in Grapevine, humans (no dogs, please) can eat, visit, bid on items in both silent and live auctions, and benefit rescue at the same time. Tickets are $65 each or two for $130. Attire is business casual.

Some of the items for auction are listed on the website. There is a 5 day 4 night stay at a Fairmont hotel, a fishing trip, drawings of your pet, a sculpture of your pet, and a whole host of smaller items to bid on. Everyone ought to find something they want, even if you do not have a Basset Hound.

This group just completed a fund raiser in conjunction with Foxy Paws. There was an Easter egg hunt, the opportunity to have your pet’s portrait taken, and a contest for best biggest dog bonnet and best smallest dog bonnet.
