Bonded puppies snuggling for comfort at lonely animal control

Animal control facilities are far from welcoming - from the sterile kennel runs to the loud, frantic barking from frightened, impounded dogs - conditions are such that it can leave a homeless dog shaking in terror.

Two, six-month-old pit bull mix puppies are currently taking comfort from one another at the San Bernardino City Animal Control in San Bernardino, Calif.

The pups, Devin and Delaney, are bonded siblings who have been at the animal control facility since Jan. 24.

A photo taken at the facility captures the pups' love for one another...bodies side by side and paws entwined.
