BON JOVI: The Rock and Roll 'Brotherhood' Raises hands at Cleveland's Q Arena (Photos)

Cleveland, OH--On Saturday, March 9, 2013, Bon Jovi raised more than hands, with a solidly packed show at the Quicken Loans Arena for their Because We Can concert tour. As the lights dimmed at the Q, for a brief second, Bon Jovi fans silenced their excitement when the band stepped foot on the stage and opened the night with "You give love a bad name". Adorning fans started shrieking with enthusiasm, danced, jumped, hands swinging in mid-air, all singing to every lyric.

The adrenaline rush of Jon's dynamic voice was felt on the hearts of each one of his fans in the Q. Midway through the first half, Jon changed to his all time favorite piece, his black acoustic guitar. Looking closely, you can see "AP 95" scratched into the surface of it. For curious fans, the initials stand for Al Parinello, Jon's guitar teacher and neighbor that passed away in 1995. What a nice way to pay tribute to someone who impacted his life tremendously.

Just after Bon Jovi finished singing "Bad Medicine", they took a bow and thanked their Cleveland fans for their attendance. The entire Q went into a three minute moment of darkness. One could hear the shuffling of feet with confusion. Than Jon returned to the stage with Bon Jovi, spoke a simple soft "Thank you" and started to sing "You want to make a memory" for their first song of their encore.

These New Jersey boys, known as the "Rock and Roll Brotherhood" have come a long way in 30 years. Selling over 125 million albums, vowing to be the biggest band in the world and have succeeded on every aspect earning the respect of all their fans. Their newest, 12th studio album What About Now, is due to be released on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

After 27 songs, a seven song encore, and a three hour magnetic performance by Bon Jovi, it was time for Cleveland fans to part farewell to this engaging and dynamic group of men. Fans just couldn't get enough of Bon Jovi and did not want the night to end. A special Thank you to Bon Jovi for a stellar performance and Cleveland looks forward to your return!
