Bon Jovi’s newly released single debut single “Because We Can” has jumped onto Billboard’s Adult Contemporary and Adult Pop Songs chart, earning “Greatest Gainer” honors.
According to an article posted today at Billboard.com, the New Jersey rock icons’ lead-off single from their upcoming studio album “What About Now,” entered Billboard’s Adult Contemporary at No. 21 and Adult Pop Songs at No. 30 to notch “Greatest Gainer” status on both charts.
Creating heaps of buzz with their upcoming “Because We Can” world tour, which begins next month and includes a string of Canadian dates, the single also benefited from hourly plays at several Clear Channel-owned adult contemporary and adult top 40 stations on the track's first day of availability.
“Because We Can” is available for purchase now at iTunes.
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” hitmaker’s 12th studio album “What About Now” hits shelves on March 26.
The “Because We Can” Canadian leg kicks off on Feb. 13 in Montreal, QC at Bell Centre and finishes up on April 5 in Winnipeg, MB at MTS Centre.
