Bon Jovi is 'Living on a Prayer' that his home will sell for $42 million. The penthouse apartment in New York City is up for sale just six years after he purchased it for a mere $24 million.
Located in the city's SoHo area, Curbed reports that Bon Jovi purchased the 7,500 square foot home in 2007 and the valuation of the property has increased to $42 million since then.
If you win Saturday night's $320 million Powerball jackpot, you will have more than enough to purchase the penthouse apartment that is fully furnished, has five bedrooms and five-and-one-half baths.
The apartment features 11 foot ceilings and three terraces so the new owner will get a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline.
The roof terraces in Bon Jovi's home have over 3,100 of outdoor living space that is fully landscaped.
Realestaker writes that there is a key lock elevator in the building that "opens directly into the five bedroom penthouse's upper level main foyer off of which are coat closets and an itty-pitty powder room."
According to the description by the listing agent, Corcoran, off of the main foyer is a "massive Great Room, which has a wood-burning fireplace, a dining area and a modern chef’s kitchen."
The maintenance fees for Bon Jovi's $42 million home are listed at $6,870 and monthly taxes on the property are $4,738.
