Bon Jovi announces release date for new album ‘What About Now’

Bon Jovi has confirmed official release dates through the world for the release of their upcoming studio album “What About Now.”

According to an official announcement posted today at BonJovi.com, the New Jersey rock icons will release their 12th studio album worldwide beginning on March 8 in a variety of European markets.

“What About Now” is scheduled to hit shelves in Canada and the U.S. on March 12, amended from a previously projected date of March 26.

Fans can pre-order the album on iTunes starting Feb.12 and will receive the title track instantly upon purchase.

The band’s Canadian tour leg kicks off on Feb. 13 in Montreal, QC at Bell Centre and finishes up on April 5 in Winnipeg, MB at MTS Centre.

Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster, AEGLive.com, and local venues.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” hitmakers are offering a free online stream of their Because We Can world tour kick off, which takes place Feb. 9 at Uncasville, Conn at Mohegan Sun Arena.
