A source says, "a bomb threat to a school in Rhea County, Tennessee was by an adult, not a student." What a way to begin the New Year for the students in Dayton Tennessee. Parents are concerned for their childrens' safety.
All Rhea County schools and Dayton city schools are being evacuated after authorities learned about a bomb threat.
Dayton Police Chief Chris Sneed said all schools would be out by 11 a.m. due to the threat but could not give further details.
Rhea County Sheriff Mike Neal said his deputies were assisting in the investigation, which involved a note left saying a bomb might be in a Rhea County school. The sheriff could not share any more information at this time.- Chattanooga Times
