Bold video game predictions and wishes for 2013

To finalize this week of 2013 previews, I'll put my heart on the table. I have more predictions to dish out other than covering Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. Alongside my predictions, I also have a few pleading wishes I’d like to share. These wishes may be a little farfetched, but I want them to come true damn it!

Predictions:

  • Final Fantasy Versus will become Final Fantasy XV
  • The next Call of Duty will be teased at the Super Bowl and will be a Xbox 720 launch title
  • Grand Theft Auto V will come out in May
  • Beyond: 2 Souls will come out this Fall and will have a preview for the new PS4 title in development by Quantic Dream
  • There will be some form of a Mega Man HD collection for home consoles
  • Valve will finally announce Half Life 3, exclusive to their Steam Box
  • A few Final Fantasy charcters will be announced as DLC for PlayStation All Stars
  • Dragon Quest VII for the 3DS will be get a Western localization and launch in March 2014
  • Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will come out this Summer in the US and have a teaser for Kingdom Hearts 3, for the PS4, in it
  • A new Deus Ex will get announced
  • Dragon Quest X will get a Western release for this Summer on the Wii U
  • Apple will announce some sort of OUYA/Steam Box esque game console
  • Metal Gear Ground Zeroes will be a launch title for the PS4 in February
  • Persona 5 will get announced at Tokyo Game Show as a PS4 exclusive

Wishes:

  • Earthbound gets ported to the Virtual Console and its sequel, Mother 3, gets a Western localization
  • Level 5’s newest 3DS hit, Fantasy Life, gets a Western release
  • Final Fantasy X HD will come out this Fall
  • SNES and GBA games will get released on the 3DS eShop
  • Tokitowa gets a Western release
  • Final Fantasy Type 0 gets a Western release
  • Final Fantasy VI remake for the 3DS
  • E.X. Troopers gets a Western release
  • A .Hack HD collection, or a new game in the series gets announced
  • Super Mario RPG (SNES) 3DS remake announced
  • A new Pokémon Snap game
  • Mega Man Legends 3 returns and or Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 get ported to PSN
