Boise conference on gifted & talented education offered in July

Forty week-long presentations by scholars and practitioners in the field of gifted and talented education.
Each summer, the Northwest's premiere summer conference on gifted and talented education comes to Boise State University. This July, the 14th annual Edufest will offer keynote presentations as well as forty week-long sessions by internationally and nationally recognized experts in gifted and talented education.
From Monday, July 26, through Thursday, July 29, week-long sessions begin at 10:30 am and continue until 5:00 pm. In addition, special topic presentations will be offered Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm.
Parents, kids, counselors, classroom teachers, gifted and talented coordinators, and administrators are all invited to attend. While teaching professionals can receive up to three professional development credits for the conference, all Edufest participants will receive a CD-ROM with electronic copies of the presenters' handouts.
  • Edufest Parents' Day and Kids' Day kick off the event on Saturday, July 24.
  • The Administrator, School Psychologist, and Educator Institute will be held on Monday, July 26.
