In Citizens for Legitimate Government (CLG)"Northwest Bomb Plot 'Oddities'," Lori Price summarizes Delta's Northwest "terrorist incident" on Christmas day as "Bogosity reaches critical mass!"
Brian Ross's ABC investigation of FAA's Christmas Conference reflects just how bogus the national security fiasco is. This scandal is at taxpayer's expense, both in terms of monetary and basic human rights.
One TV viewer of the recent FAA Chritsmas bash wrote to Congresspersons:
I watched with amazement on ABC news about the FAA and their end of year party at taxpayer expense. Simply amazing that these managers have no ethics, nor morals, nor awareness that people in the US and around the globe are suffering as a result of the failure of leadership, not just in the FAA but also in the US Senate, and in the corporations.I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas, but I don't feel that you represent any of the Christians virtues, nor do you have any sense of ethics or morals, based on your actions in your key leadership positions in the US Senate. That is unfortunate. Not just for us, the people, but for the future of the US and for grandchildren and future generations. You are creating more and more problems with your support for corporations such as the FAA and the big banks and the health insurers and others, and opposing what is beneficial to the people who are suffering. It was pleasant at least to see on the same newscast Prince William spending an evening on the streets to see what it is like to be homeless, poverty stricken, and poor. Have you ever thought of something like that?
The Times wrote, "Joblessness has wreaked financial and emotional havoc on the lives of many of those out of work ... causing major life changes, mental health issues and trouble maintaining even basic
necessities."
Bogus terrorist watch lists
Price, CLG's Managing Editor, writes, "In 2008, the ACLU estimated the US 'No Fly List' to have grown to over 1,000,000 names, -- heck, even Cat Stevens and the late Senator Ted Kennedy were on it -- and it continues to expand.
"But, suspected terrorist Abdul Farouk Abdulmutallab, who was curiously able to obtain military-grade high explosives -- 80 grams of PETN (gee, where'd he get that?) -- managed to escape airport security and detonate his underwear bomb!
"In April 2009, American authorities reportedly refused an Air France flight from Paris to Mexico entry into US airspace because a left-wing journalist writing a book on the CIA was on board.
"Got it?" Price asks.
"Write a book critical of the CIA -- you cannot fly. Carry explosives (allegedly from Yemen) on board when the US is trolling for an excuse to invade and occupy Yemen for its oil -- yes you can!"
Abdulmutallab was thwarted by a quote, unquote vacationing movie producer, Jasper Schuringa, who, within seconds, asserted that he not only tackled the suspect and put him in a headlock but also tried 'to search his body for any explosives' (CNN). Unless one was a bona-fide law enforcement professional or a military agent, who on earth would think of searching a man who had just set himself on fire, in a matter of seconds, for more explosives?
The goal is Yemeni oil. Hence the reason for the destabilization and the purported need for the US to stop al-Qaeda (literally, 'the database'). The Yemeni national security chief has declared that the country is receiving assistance from the US in the crackdown on what he called 'al-Qaeda operatives' in southern Yemen (Press TV). Translation: US corporaterrorists want Yemen's oil and they want it NOW.
Until U.S. suppression eases enough for aircrew whistleblowers to speak, Americans can expect more of the same, increased: bogus war on terror, false flag operations, removal of human and civil rights, steadfast increase of imperialism, and poverty on the homefront.
An internet message highlights that a new study, "Reward Failure" details that top 10 Wall Street giant CEOs walked off with $28.9 million dollars a year, 575 times the median income of an American family; food stamps now feed one in eight Americans and one in four American children; and that according to Americans for Financial Reform, the reported $150 billion Wall Street pays itself in compensation and bonuses this year is enough to solve the budget crisis of every one of the 50 states or create millions of jobs or prevent all foreclosures for four years.
The Iraq and Afghan illegal occupations and associated U.S. war crimes have cost about $946 billion according to Costofwar.com that tracks just the direct appropriations using Congressional Research Office figures. (Bill Walker, Yet More Aid to Foreign Dictators, Night of the Living Dead Newspaper, Lew Rockwell)
Corporate is making a killing out of American's gullibility about the war on terror, not to mention making Americans hated even more overseas.
In his letter to Congresspersons, the viewer of the FAA bash suggested Senators and Representatives read that study but concludes:
So much for a Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year. I appreciate that you might take time to read and respond to my concerns, but I doubt that you will. I am open for a surprise though .. . . one never knows.
Buy the war on terror and suffer more as the financial collapse worsens. Alternatively, join Congressman Kucinich and demand that money be spent at home to end suppression and lies and to re-create America according to its Constitution and human rights.
