Bogota High School defeats Palisades Park High School in girls' basketball

Bogota High School JV and Varsity both defeated Palisades Park High School in girls' basketball.

Bogota's varsity came out strong from the start. They defeated Palisades Park with a score of 56-21. Their half-court pressure defense was difficult to break. Krissy Bautista is fast and can explosively attack the basket. She is also a strong passer and team leader. Bogota led at the half, 22-2.

The JV girls' team had a close, exciting game. Bogota led at the end of the first quarter, 6-5. Jillian O'Brien is a good dribbler and outside shooter. Bogota led at the half, 15-12. Emily Robbins is a strong defender and outside shooter. Both players helped play aggressively to keep the lead. Bogota led at the end of the third quarter, 23-21. During the fourth quarter Bogota had a few runs and then delayed for the final minutes. Their final score was 27-21.
