Bogbrew Witch is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today July 2, 2013 from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming "Magic: 2014 Core Set." Revealed in an article by Bruce Richard on DailyMTG.com, Bogbrew Witch's power relies upon that of two other integral cards for it to interact with: Festering Newt and Bubbling Cauldron.

2, Tap: Search your library for a card named Festering Newt or Bubbling Cauldron, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.

Bogbrew Witch not only finds, but puts both Festering Newt and Bubbling Cauldron onto the battlefield. After activating Bubbling Cauldron, your opponent will lose four life and you'll gain four life (or more in a multiplayer game). Once you're out of Festering Newts you can sacrifice Bogbrew Witch to Bubbling Cauldron, creating a 2/2 Zombie in the process thanks to Xathrid Necromancer. And if you've had a Dark Prophecy on the battlefield you'll be drawing a ton of cards in the process.
Richard suggests adding green for Deadbridge Chant in order to recur your sacrificed creatures to repeat it all over again if they aren't already dead.
