A new season at the Paper Mill Playhouse begins tonight, January 18, when the play Boeing-Boeing opens. Directed by James Brennan, the show features a cast that includes Anne Horak, Brynn O'Malley, Heather Parcells, John Scherer, Matt Walton, and Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel.
Boeing-Boeing tells the tale of Bernard, an American playboy in swinging '60s Paris who juggles three flight-attendant fiancée including one American, one German, and one Italian. With the help of airline timetables and a phenomenally efficient housekeeper, he convinces each that she is his only love. But then a fast new Boeing jet puts the flight attendants on a collision course and hurtles Bernard's cunning deception towards disaster with results that provide laughs along the way.
Boeing-Boeing will have performances eight times a week, Wednesday through Sunday through February 12, 2012. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, January 22, 2012. This show is sponsored by American Airlines, the official airline of Paper Mill Playhouse.
