Bodybuilding: Clarity and purpose

In order to accomplish any goal or vision, you must have clarity and purpose. Bodybuilding in itself is a lifestyle that only works if you have both. You need to know what you want, why you want it and have an idea of how to achieve it. When you are certain of what you want and why you want it, your brain will begin to show you all of the ways you can bring your goals to fruition.

Whenever you decide to pursue a goal is when it seems all of the problems and obstacles show up. But when they do and you are not clear nor prepared, the obstacles gain the potential of overwhelming you, causing you to soon talk yourself out of the goal. It's only when you are clear of the goal that you will be able to sift through the issues with success because your focus remains the same.

Remaining consistent in your training verses starting and stopping is the difference of having clarity or having none at all. You can have two people training in a gym for years and one will have a body that defies all understanding and the other will have a body that is nothing short of average. Keep in mind, they both are consistent, both of their main goals is bodybuilding; however, their bodies couldn't be any further apart than night and day. What's the difference in these two people? Clarity and purpose; how one sees him or herself, but most importantly, what that person says about him or herself, internally. The internal dialogue can change a person's goals and visions just as quickly as they are developed. This is why you must guard your mind against negative energy, thought and conversation and find ways to reward your efforts in a positive manner.

If you want to totally transform your body, you must be willing to remain consistent, no matter what. Your goal has to be first and foremost on your agenda but most importantly, you must not allow yourself to accept anything less than your best.
