Missing since Wednesday, Frederick Dunn was found yesterday morning along the shore of Lake Ontario.

According to the Democrat and Chronicle, Dunn, 48, was a music teacher at North Rose-Wolcott School District. He was last seen on Wednesday when he left practice for a school musical and went to run errands. He did not return to the school. His car was found Wednesday night in Huron, where Dutch Street ends at the lake. Dunn was reported missing around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Superintendent of North Rose-Wolcott School District John Walker released this statement Thursday evening:

All in the North Rose-Wolcott School District are deeply anxious regarding Mr. Dunn's disappearance. We keep his family and friends in our prayers. We remain hopeful for a positive ending. Know that Mr. Dunn has 27 years of dedicated service to our music program and students, and freely shared his love of music and the arts with many wonderful people in our community.

Land, air, and water searches were ongoing over the past few days. Dunn's body was found around 10:15 a.m. Saturday morning near the shore of Lake Ontario. The cause of death is still under investigation.
