Body of missing man found in garbage bag

The body of a man who was found inside a garbage bag has been identified as man who went missing from Milwaukee in December.

Authorities identified the man through fingerprints as Dwight Killibrew, 53, who was last seen at a bar in downtown Milwaukee.

Killibrew was found in a trash bag, wrapped in a sheet behind an apartment building near 63rd and Kaul in Milwaukee's northwest side on Sunday, reports Fox 6 news.

Killibrew worked at the Astor Hotel and had finished his shift before going to a downtown bar on Dec. 14, 2012. He had not been seen since.

The Killibrew family issued a statement that said, "Dwight was a fun, energetic, amazing person. He was a God-fearing man who will truly be missed by his family and loved ones."

An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to determine the cause of death.
