News sources revealed today a body was found in Kenilworth Park, the same location where the search is being conducted on the missing 8-year-old Relisha Rudd. The child has been missing since March 1 and a meticulous job by the police is in progress in finding her.

Washington, D.C. Chief of Police Cathy Lanier gave a press conference this afternoon about the body found in the 700-acre park. The recovery operation continued this past weekend that included divers combing the area in ponds, marshes and the Anacostia River despite the rain.

Now that a male body has been found in which Chief Lanier added in the conference it may have been a suicide, investigators will examine the identification of the body to see if it could possibly be Relisha Rudd’s abductor, Kahlil Tatum.
