“A Culinary Affair” brings the area’s largest Outdoor Food Festival.
Attention foodies, wine lovers, and all-around partygoers: Get ready for the BIG one! The 4th Annual Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival. The acclaimed "Culinary Affair" is the area’s largest outdoor culinary festival, with over 70 top chefs presenting their culinary creations, plus loads of fine wine, craft beers and spirits, live entertainment, dancing, shopping, and general frivolity. It all takes place November 8, 9 and 10 at the Boca Corporate Center & Campus on T-Rex Avenue (south of Yamato Road).
This year’s festivities feature four special events, each with their own unique venue. It all kicks off Friday evening, with a VIP Dinner Under The Stars (an intimate four-course wine & food pairing dinner, with a “private chef” preparing your meal tableside!); and also the Vineyard Party, where guests stroll through the vineyard and sample from 20 select food and wine stations. Sunday brings the Jazz, Bubbles & Brunch (noon – 3:00), featuring an elaborate array of brunch stations, along with unlimited sparkling wines, Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, amidst the backdrop of live jazz music.
The main event, of course is Saturday’s Grand Tasting, starting at 6:00 p.m. Don’t miss this chance to sample, savor, and sip unlimited tastings from over 70 of the area’s finest chefs, plus fine wines, craft beers, and assorted spirits. Just a taste of this year’s all-star lineup includes: Buddha Sky Bar, Mancini Modern Italian, Truluck’s, Potions In Motion, Segreto, Shake Shack, Oceans 234, Gelato Petrini, NYY Steak, Fit Foodz Café, Publix Aprons Cooking School, Tucci’s Fire N Coal Pizza, 13 American Table, Estia Greek Taverna, Perro Family Farms, Le Cordon Bleu, Florida Fresh Meat Company, Taverna Kyma, Gimme A Burger, The Mad Platter, Florida Grass-Fed Arrowhead Beef -- and about 50 more! Cuisines will cover all corners of the culinary world, including North and South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Mediterranean – plus a sinful Sweet Endings Village for dessert lovers.
“But Wait, There’s More!” In addition to all the food and drink offerings, you’ll also dig the Retail Bazaar and Farmer’s Market, Wine Education Classes, Sensory Garden, Live Cooking Demonstrations in the IKEA Kitchen Alley, and up-close encounters with some cool autos from BRAMAN Motorcars Palm Beach. Other sponsoring product booths include Pero Family Farms, Certified Piedmontese, Arrowhead Beef, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Progresso, Mountain Valley Spring Water, Cabot Creamery, IKEA, Boca Corporate Center and Campus, NuTurf Pompano Beach, BocaRaton.com, and WineEvents.com.
Yes, this event has it all. As Event Designer Robert Stanfield points out, “You can eat, drink, dance and shop the day and night away, in an atmosphere of delicious fun.” Russell Spadaccini, the Festival’s Founding Father and President proudly notes, “We can’t wait for this year’s festival. We’ve introduced a Retail Wine Store, an Organic Village, Craft Beer Village, BBQ Village and the newly renamed IKEA Kitchen Alley and IKEA Lounge.”
Sounds like a very cool event! See you there!!
