Boca Loca Cachaca spirit review

Cocktails Examiner
Boca Loca displays noticeable weight in the pour conveying reasonable assurance there is character within the spirit. Immediate sweetness may be detected in the aroma with possible almond filtering through in the nose. It reminds me of burnt candied sugar; the kind that wafts through shopping malls on Saturday afternoons attempting to lure shoppers in for tastes of brown sugared, toffee goodness flowing over popcorn or toasted almonds.
Tasting does not translate quite on the same par as the aroma, but the hint of the magic remains. The beauty of our ability to taste combined with the sense of smell and visual creation within our imagination helps stimulate more of our awareness for a well rounded view of a spirit rather than what happens during a blind tasting. Blind tastings are great for straight on simple feel. Enveloping yourself in sight, feel, taste, sound and depth of a spirit gives you the entire weight and magnitude of what you are about to enjoy.
Boca Loca tastes of honeyed brown sugar rounding out on the palate. The texture is rich and smooth without any hint of grain or choppishness. The body of the spirit allows the tongue to play with it and enjoy the creamy sweetness that reminds me of the almond candy Marzipan in flavor only.
