Bobby Long brings his Dangerous Summer Tour back to NYC

Bobby Long an up and coming folk singer/songwriter from the UK will be making his way back to NYC this coming week as the US portion of his Dangerous Summer Tour is winding down. Long will be performing at Arlene’s Grocery on September 9th and 10th at 7:00pm. On Friday September 11th you can catch him at the HopeStock Benefit in East Hampton, NY. It will be the second time this summer that Long has joined the line up at the benefit and is a definite can’t miss. Finally on Saturday September 12th Long will be performing at the legendary Bitter End in NYC. Fans are expected to be traveling both near and far to catch the poetic Brit before he embarks on the European leg of his tour. If you are interested in attending any of the shows, be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time as they are expected to sell out. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t make it to one of the shows next week, Bobby will be returning to NYC on October 24th to play for the New York folk enthusiasts once again. Try not to wait too long to catch him though, his music is as intense as the words he speaks. Thoughtful and sincere Long will not disappoint you when you see him live. He may appear shy during interviews, or off stage, but the man sure is one strong force to be reckoned with while he plays his Gibson. He will command your attention, with the intensity of a thousand burning suns as he entertains you with his words, voice and harmonica. If you are a fan of 60’s music, (or even Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley) or if you just want to go throw back some drinks and hear something earth shattering, be sure to check his myspace page for upcoming shows near you. Can’t get enough of Bobby Long? Then be sure to check him out on the Landofdreamers.com a fantastic website dedicated to him and his friends Marcus Foster and Sam Bradley. (Both of whom have EP’s that are available.)
