Bobby Brown has been sentenced to 55 days in jail for drunk driving. Whitney Houston’s former husband will now be spending time behind bars, People Magazine reported on Feb. 26.
According to the report, Brown as arrested for DUI in October of 2012. The singer, who is the father of Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was also arrested for drinking and driving in March of 2012, just days after Houston’s death.
Bobby Brown was sentenced to 55 days in jail, but also ordered to complete a 18-month alcohol treatment program. Brown has a long running battle with addiction, and has been in many scrapes with the law.
Bobby, who married Alicia Etheredge in Hawaii in June 2012, has been ordered to report to serve his jail time by Mar. 20.
