Bobby Brown is heading to jail for 55 days after pleading no contest to driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. According to E! News on Feb. 26, Brown’s suspended drivers license was due to a previous conviction for driving under the influence.
Brown also got 48 months of summary probation, $500 in fines plus penalty assessment, complete an 18-month alcohol program and comply with standard DUI conditions for his first charge.
This is Brown’s second DUI. For the first DUI he was placed on 36 months of summary probation, $300 in fines plus penalty assessment and instal an ignition interlock device.
Bobby Brown was pulled over on October 24, 2012 for driving carelessly. Police officers then discovered he was driving a vehicle without a court-mandated dashboard Breathalyzer. It seems Brown thinks he is above the law. Is his current punishment enough? They do not differ much from his first punishment? Sound off in comments below.
